Vulnerable Young Person Nursing Service
The service is made up of the following: Looked After Children’s Service: the team provides a dedicated health service to children and young people who are ‘looked after’ by Salford Local Authority and children and young people living in Salford who are ‘looked after ‘by other local authorities. Youth Justice Service (YJS): the service offers a dedicated health Service to children and young who are involved with Youth Justice Services in Salford. Family Liaison Service: the service provides assessments within the PANDA Unit at Salford Royal to identify those cases that need to be brought to the attention of other allied health professionals in Salford and to family liaison nurses within other NHS trusts.
