Stepping Stones Creative
We are an organisation for young people aged 10 to 25 years old, with additional needs. We use the creative arts in supporting our members in their personal, social and expressive development. Emphasising a relaxed, safe and enjoyable environment.
Based in Irlam and Cadishead meeting on Saturday mornings, we also deliver projects across the city, often collaborative i.e.inclusive movement project with Salford University Dance Department, poet Mike Garry, and others.
We are interested in developing 'youth voice', with this year running several successful workshops led by Julian Boal.
We are entering into an exciting collaboration with Salford Children's Holiday Camp, where we will be exploring how we can use their space and location to deliver wonderful creative activities.
We offer online, as well as face to face activities.
As we are a non-profit organisation we try to make our activities as cost accessible as possible, with most being free.
