Broughton Trust, a Salford based community education charity have teamed up with Walkden Coop Academy and over the next 18 months will work with parents to create a dynamic and exciting parent learning hub. Creating opportunities to explore new and different ways to learn, parents will have the opportunity to learn something new, refresh old skills, help their kids get the best from their learning. They can also access advice and guidance on a whole range of topics including work and benefits. Initial consultation with parents has already started with the first free on line courses available from June (please see downloads section) or for more details email Marie Carrol at lib@thebroughtontrust.org.uk.
