Coffee-stops run by The Fed

‘Coffee-stops’ are run by The Fed’s Volunteer Department and are regular social get-togethers, held at different places in and around the community, such as the Manchester Maccabi Centre, shuls and schools. They are a wonderful way of meeting other people especially if you are feeling in need of company.

Fed volunteers help with transporting you to and from coffee-stops and with breaking the ice by joining in with the socialising too.

Notes

The Fed is the leading social care charity supporting the Jewish Community of Greater Manchester. As such most of its services are for Jewish people and their unpaid carers. However its care home, Heathlands Village and bathing service, Bliss, are offered to people who are not Jewish and in limited circumstances it offers support for children with additional needs who are not Jewish.
