Salford Heart Care is a small, independent, local charity. Salford Heart Care offers support to enable people to improve their health and well being and to prevent heart-related problems. They also provide after-care and support to those with heart related conditions and long-term illnesses. They have 4 Healthy Heart Clubs operating across Salford, plus a bereavement support group. They offer a range of activities including dance and chair based exercise, relaxation and stress management sessions, reiki therapies, chair yoga, indoor games, social trips and group holidays and weight management support. They work in partnership with community organisations and health professionals and organise informative presentations on a regular basis to enable people to self care and improve their health and well being.
