Forest School Youth Club - Kersal Dale
Please note this club is for Salford young people only, aged 11 to 14.
Our Forest School Youth Club will allow you to have fun and context with the woodland space, following the Forest School Associate Ethos. What is forest school?
Activities will include
- forest games and crafts
- bush-craft skills
- campfire cooking
- nature walks
Sessions will be guided by our forest school leaders but the activity will be led by the young people attending.
We will do forest school activities over the sessions with the aim of achieving a John Muirs award for each person. This award will give participants new skills and confidence as well as an insight into outdoor career options.
All sessions are young person-centred with the aim of creating a community and friendships.
