The community paediatric team in Salford have special expertise in child development and disability and are part of the national networks in managing these areas. Our holistic approach for all clinics allows multiple issues to be dealt with at a single appointment. Statutory duties are fulfilled with specific services for vulnerable children, including looked after children and those going through the adoption process; and medical assessment and advice for children undergoing statutory assessment of special educational needs.
