Carers Support Group - The Fed
Are your responsible for the care of a loved one who cannot manage without your help? You may well be classed as a ‘carer’. The Fed’s Carers’ Project offers support to carers aged 18 and over, who are looking after another adult on an unpaid basis.
Apart from one to one support from our Carers’ Advice Worker, our groups offer you opportunities to be put in touch with and receive support from (and offer support to) other carers. We have three regular groups:
- A fortnightly Carers’ Coffee and Cake Group
- A monthly Male Carers’ Group - known as The Purple Group
- A monthly Carers’ Forum
These groups provide a chance to chat with other carers in a supportive environment, facilitated by Fed staff.
