Emerging Leaders Group- Drama & Leadership in the arts to Young People with Learning Disabilities.

DIY Theatre Company's Gamechangers programme offers Drama & Leadership in the arts to Young People with Learning Disabilities.
Emerging Leaders Group for ages 11 - 30 years on Monday evenings 5:30pm - 7:00pm. The sessions are led by Molly and supported by Sophie - so there is always support in the room.
A typical young leaders session starts with warm up games, planning outreach sessions that we run in schools, and exploring leadership through drama, for example presenting clearly and how we make games accessible to everyone. Currently, the group has around 6 participants and although we do encourage people to come to the session independently, it is ok for a support worker/parent/guardian to attend with a new participant as they get used to the space.
All sessions are FREE to attend and are held at Langworthy Cornerstone. We can also support with free transport. Sessions are term time only.
This is an exciting opportunity for any young person who wants to explore leadership and creativity in an inclusive space!
