Connexions Salford (Career Connect)

Connexions provide careers information, advice, guidance and support to young people aged 16-18 and can arrange to see you at a range of venues across Salford to help with careers, jobs and training. If you are not in education, employment or training please call Connexions to register and arrange an appointment with your local Connexions adviser.
Depending on individual requirements, Connexions can offer
- A named local careers adviser or engagement coach
- Regular contact by a range of means including face to face, phone, text, e-mail and social media
- Skills assessment
- Employability skills
- Referrals to local training providers for courses, traineeships and apprenticeships
- Job search and applications to local vacancies and opportunities
- CV and job application advice and support
- Interview preparation
- Referrals to partner and specialist services
- Under 18s benefits support
- Transition support once a young person starts a new opportunity
