Greater Manchester Orienteering Courses in Salford

Greater Manchester Orienteering Club has a series of short films showing how families, runners and walkers can enjoy learning the adventure sport of orienteering and improve their map reading skills all yaer round.
With many activities currently limited by the pandemic, the videos encourage people to get some exercise by trying a Permanent Orienteering Course (POC) in a local park. Orienteering works well as a sport you can do on your own and keep a safe distance from other people.
In Salford there is a POC in each of the following locations
- Blackleach Country Park
- Clifton Country Park
- Duke's Drive, Monton
- Kersal Dale
- Kersal Moor
- Prince's Park, Irlam
- Worsley Woods
