Salford City Council has been provided with funding to offer eligible two year olds access to free early education, up to 15 hours per week term-time only or 11 hours per week if stretched out to include holidays. The aim of the funding is to improve children’s speech and language and improve parent’s outcomes by freeing up some of their time to access work/ training courses.
