The Lowry Young Leaders
We are looking for creative, passionate young people in Greater Manchester who are interested in making a difference through the arts!
Lowry Young Leaders is a weekly group for young people ages 13 to 17, the aim is to give young people a voice and explore issues that are important to them. The group works with a variety of different artists, from drama practitioners and musicians to motivation speakers and theatre-makers, to use the arts for positive social change.
The group have previously created a live performance, short videos, and a live, interactive survey.
It's ideal for young people who are more politically engaged, want to connect with new people, enjoy exploring different art forms or just want something fun to do.
The group are currently working on a short piece of theatre to be performed in July 2024.
The group meets at the Lowry, Mondays 6.00pm to 8.00pm, it's FREE and no prior experience is necessary.
