Bury Tandem Club for Blind and Partially Sighted People
We ride between 30 and 60 miles every Sunday on high quality road tandems. We stop for lunch at a cafe and there are usually five or six tandems.We usually return between 2.30 and 4.30pm, depending on the weather and terrain. You don't need to be super-fit or experienced. We have men and women of all shapes and sizes. It's great fun and a good way to get out.

We are very keen to recruit new pilots - if you are a reasonably confident, strongish cyclists who would like to give something back and can commit to at least one Sunday every five weeks, please get in touch.

Before joining us, you will need to have a test ride to see if tandem riding is for you. You will also need to join Cycling UK, which provides excellent insurance and other benefits.

Unfortunately we do not have any child sized bikes, nor are we able to support people with multiple disabilities.
