Salford Youth Council

Salford Youth Council represents and advocates for young people throughout Salford around political and social issues that affect them locally or nationally. Members can be elected to stand as Member of Youth Parliament and Youth Mayor, this is a two year term. You will be elected as a deputy in the first year (shadowing) and in the second year you will be in the full role. Young people can also attend a regional North West Youth Foria and take part in Youth Parliament in London.
We also plan events as well as working on issues. These events are open to all young people who live, work or are educated in Salford.
