Chatsworth caters for up to 140 students, aged from 11 to 19 years, with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and Autism.
Chatsworth caters for students in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
- Students aged between 11 - 14 years old in Years 7 - 9 are in Key Stage 3. (High School)
- Students aged between 15 - 16 years old in Years 10 and 11 are in Key Stage 4. (High School)
- Students aged bewteen 17 - 19 years old in Years 12- 14 are in Key Stage 5. (Community College)
Admissions to Chatsworth High School and Community College are controlled by Salford Local Authority. We are unable accept direct requests for placements from parents or carers or other local authorities. Pupils who attend Chatsworth High School and Community College have an Education, Health and Care Plan which outlines the area of need and what provision and resources are needed to support the pupil.
In rare cases, a child may be admitted on an assessment placement to determine what the pupils’ needs are and whether their needs can be met at Chatsworth High School and Community College.
