Heathlands Village Care Home
Heathlands Village is a large Jewish care home for older people. It is run by The Fed – a leading North West social care charity. It accepts people who are not of the Jewish faith or have no faith.
It is situated in the residential suburb of Prestwich in Bury, Greater Manchester, next to a picturesque golf course and historic moorland.
It is set in a beautiful, large landscaped site with lovely patio and lawn areas and two secure sensory gardens one with a seaside theme, the other, a woodland theme.
Our main building features bright, contemporary communal areas including The Village Coffee-shop - a popular eatery for residents and their visitors, as well as staff and from people from the local community.
The main building has a modern, hairdressing salon, a village shop, medical suite and light-filled central atrium, leading to our main restaurant – Balcombe Hall.

The Fed is the leading social care charity supporting the Jewish Community of Greater Manchester. As such most of its services are for Jewish people and their unpaid carers. However its care home, Heathlands Village and bathing service, Bliss, are offered to people who are not Jewish and in limited circumstances it offers support for children with additional needs who are not Jewish.
